FOCUS INSTRUCTION

THE BASIC POSITION…

DE-STRESS/RECHARGE/CENTER: 15-minute daily practice

(A great grounding tool, and to support overall health.)

In the basic position (semi-supine): Be. Still. Quiet. Engage with the rhythm of the breath: inhale nourishing oxygen; exhale toxins and negative energy.

In the semi-supine position you give the spine a chance to decompress and elongate; the breath cycle will provide more efficient blood circulation; proper fluid nourishment for the joints; and the nervous system will adjust and stop flushing an over-abundance of stress hormones (cortisol, adrenaline…) through the blood stream. The “de-stress” process will allow oxytocin, the master hormone for bliss, to support/nourish the body.

You commit to this time without judgment and stipulation, and without interruption. This is your personal space to rest in the present.
